RCMP seek witnesses after assault in broad daylight
The RCMP are requesting information regarding a severe assault that took place in Fort St. John on September 1. Peace Region Sees Surge in Overdoses; Naloxone Doses Proving Less Effective
Health authorities are warning of an increase in overdose events in Fort St. John, and a health warning was issued which is set to expire on Sept 4, per a media release on August 21. They have also noted some recent cases "involved atypically prolonged periods of sedation and irresponsiveness, with some patients requiring larger-than-usual doses of naloxone to reverse their condition."
