RCMP are searching for whoever vandalized Mathews Park recently, damaging the facilities while staining the park with their graffiti as authorities ask the public for any tips.

Mathews Park has once again been the target of vandalism with graffiti being sprayed throughout the interior of the bathroom in the park, leaving behind damage, not art.
The vandalism took place on October 6, according to the release, and it was reported to the RCMP that the bathrooms had been vandalized on October 7.
There were no witnesses identified by the RCMP and the surveillance footage of the incident was not available, so the local police are asking the public for any tips or information regarding this incident.
If you might have dashcam footage, possible surveillance footage, or any information regarding the suspicious possession/use of black or pink spray paint around the time of the incident, the RCMP would like you to contact them at (250) 787-8100.
In the case that you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or report a tip online at www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca.
