The unforgettable event was held at the Pomeroy Hotel and Conference Centre, where volunteers had decorated with warm and woodland themed décor, effectively setting the tone for a night of impact and celebration.

This magnificent event featured live and silent auctions, live entertainment, and award presentations.

The evening began with a heartfelt statement from FSJ Hospital Foundation Board Chair Desirae Jeannotte, regarding the upcoming new and vital enhancements to the Intensive Care Unit, which are supported by the Gala and the Light a Moose Radiothon.

“Looking ahead, the need remains great, but so does our determination. Together, we will continue to ensure that our hospital thrives, our healthcare professionals are equipped, and that every patient in our region receives the quality care they deserve,” Ms. Jeannotte emphasized.

The future of local healthcare and the vital role our medical community plays on shaping it was apparent, as a record number of healthcare professionals attended the Gala.

Wyatt and Twila Soule were recognized at the event as dedicated volunteers and long-standing donors and were presented with the Janet Taylor Award by the FSJ Hospital Foundation.

“This award is not about titles or accolades - it’s about heart. It’s about those who show up, lend a hand, and make a difference not for recognition, but because they care,” shared Kelly Amboe, FSJ Hospital Foundation Executive Director.

The Corporate Acts of Responsibility and Excellence Award (C.A.R.E) was created by the Foundation to recognize certain businesses who have gone above and beyond financial contributions to advocate, volunteer, and partner in pursuit of enhancing patient care.

“Tonight’s recipient is a local business that inspired the creation of this award,” noted Jim Reeder, FSJ Hospital Foundation Board Member.

For their exceptional leadership in community giving, many years of amazing contributions and hands on support, Mustang Rentals has been recognized as the inaugural recipient according to the release.
