The FSJACL is collaborating with the Return-It App to raise money to support people with developmental disabilities and complex needs in Fort St. John.

This initiative allows residents who use the Return-It App to direct their refunds back to FSJACL, turning your empty beverage containers into support for a good cause.

“Many people want to support inclusion but aren’t always sure how,” said Jared Braun, Stewardship Manager of FSJACL. “This is a practical way for people to make a difference using something they already do. Every container returned helps strengthen opportunities for the people we support.”

The Return-It App now has an option to select FSJACL as a donation partner when community members bring their recycling to any Return-It Express location. The app allows you to set the contribution to a one-time donation, or to have it automatically deposit to the FSJACL when you recycle.

The money raised from recycling will help the FSJACL support individuals pursue personal goals, participate fully in community life while pursuing personal goals.
