‘Vibrance’ in the North Peace

It’s your last chance to catch a glimpse of March’s art exhibit ‘Vibrance’, presented by Flying Colours Artists’ Association at Peace Gallery North in Fort St. John.

The opening reception for ‘Vibrance’ was well attended on March 7, at Peace Gallery North in Fort St. John. This wonderful collection presented by Flying Colours Artists’ Association (FCAA) had no prescribed theme,

“VIBRANCE is an apt title for the Flying Colours Artists’ Association exhibit, currently on view at Peace Gallery North in the North Peace Cultural Centre,” said Sandy Troudt. “The show is full of a luxurious richness and the word, vibrance, describes not only the artwork, but individual artists and the member group as a collective. A glowing ambiance created with colour, colour combinations and contrast has resulted in a sense that energy fills up the room.”

This exhibition features the work of 23 artists who have created stunning pieces using a variety of mediums, including oils, acrylics, encaustics, mixed media, fiber art, printmaking, and fused glass. Viewers can explore a diverse range of artistic styles, from realism and impressionism to expressionism and pure abstract work.

This exhibition showcases artists' latest creations straight from their studios, offering viewers the opportunity to discover fresh talent while also enjoying new works from artists they may have been following for some time.

Visitors can experience 68 captivating images that highlight the breathtaking landscapes and wildlife of the North Peace Region. Additionally, they will encounter creative surprises that reflect our members' dedication to lifelong learning and continuous artistic growth.

‘VIBRANCE’ will be on display until March 29th, so there’s still time to catch the exhibition if you haven’t already.
