According to the club, the event saw a great turnout, with competitors, volunteers and supporters coming together for a busy weekend on the trap line.

Like most successful community events, there was plenty happening behind the scenes. The club extended its thanks to the volunteers, scorekeepers, kitchen staff, trap helpers, sponsors and organizers who helped make the weekend possible.

One of the weekend's top honours went to Jesse Smith, who captured the Mike Nielsen Commemorative High Overall Buckle with an overall score of 551.

The club also recognized Vicki Nielsen and family for sponsoring the commemorative buckle, which organizers said meant a great deal to many of those who attended.

Beyond the scores, organizers said it was great to see familiar faces return to the club while also welcoming shooters from across the region.

With another successful shoot in the books, the North Peace Rod & Gun Club is already looking forward to next year.
