RCMP identify victim in DC homicide

A recent suspicious death in Dawson Creek which occurred earlier in April is now being considered a homicide according to RCMP

The South Peace RCMP located human remains on Monday, April 14, which initiated a suspicious death investigation. The E Division Major Crime Section has conduct of the investigation, which is now being treated as a homicide.
24-year-old Emily Ogden has been identified as the victim by the RCMP in an effort to advance the investigation, who was reported missing on March 29, out of Fort St. John.
“We would like to know if anyone saw or heard from Emily during the time she was reported missing, until the discovery of her body,” said Staff Sergeant Kris Clark of the BC RCMP.
The Dawson Creek RCMP are asking anyone with information to contact them at 250-784-3700, and this investigation remains ongoing and active.
