One man in custody following gunfire in the trailer park

Recent gunfire in the Peace Country Mobile Home Park has resulted in the arrest of one individual.

The local RCMP responded to a report of gunfire at the Peace Country Mobile Home Park on October 28, just before 1pm.

A man was arrested in relation to the gunshots later in the afternoon, following an investigation from the RCMP while a vehicle related to the incident has been seized for forensic analysis, according to the release.

“Currently we have a suspect in custody in what’s believed to be a targeted incident. No injuries have been reported and there is no reason to believe there is any ongoing risk to the public”, said Constable Christiaan Dreyer in a media release, Media Relations Officer with the Fort St. John RCMP.
