Northern Rockies RCMP are investigating yet another suspicious fire in Fort Nelson

Emergency crews responded to ON-IT Towing on 44th Avenue just before 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 after multiple vehicles parked inside the company’s impound lot caught fire, according to a media release.

Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading outside the fence line, minimizing potential damage to other businesses and properties in the immediate area.

Police are investigating and say evidence at the scene is consistent with arson. This fire is the latest in a series that have targeted the towing business over the past 18 months.
