The local RCMP released a report on May 22, and are currently asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect and vehicle, which was involved in an alleged attempted abduction in Taylor, BC on May 6.
Around 9:15pm on May 6, the male suspect driving a small tan coloured pickup offered a walking youth a ride and when the youth declined, the male driver continued to make verbal attempts at getting the youth into his vehicle. Local RCMP say the suspect left the scene headed towards Fort St John, BC.
The male suspect is described as:
· Caucasian,
· Mid 40's,
· Wearing a black and white bushy beard,
· Balding,
· Having a shorter stature,
· Weighing approximately 250lbs.
The vehicle the suspect was driving is described as a smaller, tan-coloured pickup with rust spots.
Local RCMP are continuing to investigate while requesting the publics help to provide information on possible sightings of the suspect or the vehicle.
