North Peace Museum curator/Manager Heather Sjoblom is being honoured this month for her 15 years of service to the community.

She has been applauded for her steadfast commitment to preserving our North Peace history. For many years she has provided stability and answers for not only the museum but our community at large, even us here at the Alaska Highway News.
She has worked diligently to make the museum a place where people of all ages can come to learn about life here in the North Peace from years gone by.
Whether it be answering someone’s question, helping locate that extra bit of information or just giving someone sound advice Heather has made a difference for so many in our community.
“We are fortunate to have Heather Sjoblom in our community,” said a volunteer at the museum. “She’s been here for 15 years giving so much more than just her time at the North Peace Museum, she’s been there for each and everyone of us. Always willing to lend a hand, share that perfect story or point us in the right direction.”
