RCMP investigating suspected arson at Fort St. John barber shop

Fort St. John RCMP are investigating a suspected arson after a weekend blaze caused damage to a local barber shop.

Police responded to a business in the 9200 block of 100 Street at 3:37 a.m on Saturday, July 12 after an alarm had been triggered according to a media release.


Officers who arrived on scene found a broken window and a fire at the building, both of which were suspicious in nature.

 

The Fort St. John Fire Department extinguished the fire and RCMP Forensic Identification Services were called in to investigate.

 

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
