Fort St. John RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in investigating a series of arsons and break-ins at three different barber shops, between July 5 and July 12, 2025.
The first incident occurred around 2:20 am on July 5, where a suspect was observed on surveillance camera footage obtained in the investigation, breaking into a barber shop on 96A Street near 93 Avenue in Fort St. John
The second incident occurred in the early morning hours of July 12, around 3:30 am when a barber shop in the 9200 block of 100 Street was intentionally set on fire, while a second barber shop in the 9800 block of 93 Avenue was vandalized shortly after.
Police say the two break and enters on July 12 appear to be related as a white flat-deck pickup truck was seen at the first barber shop and later at the second location.
It's an ongoing investigation with Fort St. John RCMP, who continue to ask anyone with information about the suspect, vehicle or any of the events to call them directly at 250-787-8100.
Members of the public who wish to remain anonymous are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online at www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca.
