The Northern Artisan Makers Market returned to Dunvegan Gardens on Saturday, Aug. 22, bringing local vendors and makers together for its August edition, and giving people another chance to spend part of their weekend supporting some of the talent found around the North Peace.
The Alaska Highway News had a chance to stop by last Saturday, and there was quite a bit to look through with a good mix of locally made items and, probably my favourite part of markets like this, the chance to actually visit with the people behind them.
There are a lot of talented people making some pretty interesting things around the Peace, and with the market running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., it made for a wonderful way to spend part of an August Saturday at Dunvegan Gardens.
