The Fort St. John RCMP responded to a report made on April 24 at around 9:38pm, of a multiple vehicle collision near the area of 93rd Street and 96th Avenue.
Local RCMP say that initial witness reports suggest the motorcycle had hit the pickup, while speed is believed to be a factor.
Traffic officers and frontline police immediately responded to the report, where they found the driver of the motorcycle receiving CPR.
Upon being transported to the hospital, the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased.
Local RCMP Collision Analyst and Reconstruction Services also conducted a forensic examination of the scene, while both vehicles have been seized for further investigation.
