The Central Market is located in the heart of Fort St. John, giving those in the North Peace a reason to get out and shop local as the indoor vendor marketplace gives people a chance to meet a friendly face while discovering local hidden gems each week.

The Central Market welcomes the community every week on Friday 1-6 pm, and Saturdays 10 am to 4 pm, to their location at #1 – 10032 99th Avenue, across the street from the Pawn Shop in the old Central Emporium.
Visitors can stop in for lively conversation or to browse a wide variety of local offerings including liquid gold (honey) from Gifford’s Honey, Lady Jinx’s delicious snacks & antiques, handmade crafts and jewelry, art and décor, baked goods, homemade treats, plants, and other unique gifts.
What makes this market extra special for our community is the constantly changing lineup of local vendors, as new creators join each week, ensuring there’s always something fresh to see and a chance to meet someone new. Every purchase helps support local artists and small businesses right here in the North Peace.

For those who make, bake, grow, or craft, Central Market is also looking for vendors. Tables and spaces are available weekly, with the added perk that you don’t have to pack up every week if you want to stay set up all season long. Interested vendors can reach out by email to centralemporiumfsj@gmail.com according to their Facebook page.
Whether you’re hunting for a unique gift, a sweet treat, or just a reason to get out of the house for a few hours, Central Market promises a friendly atmosphere, plenty to browse, and a little local flavor every week.
