Harper successfully raised more than $290 after selling out of her brownies in just a couple of hours, donating the money raised back to the BC Children’s Hospital.

“I was born with congenital cataracts in both eyes. In 2022, I attended the BC Children’s Hospital for eye surgery on my left eye, where they removed the cataract and replaced it with an artificial lens implant. Now I’m giving back,” read the signage on her brownie stand at the Creative Corner Market.

This was the second annual market, which was held at the Taylor Community Hall and featured numerous vendors, snacks, and a raffle.
