BC Conservative Larry Neufeld will be running against Independent Mike Bernier - who confirmed his candidacy Tuesday morning.
“Voters in the South Peace will have a clear choice - a member of government who can affect change - or one sitting as an Independent,” said Neufeld to TWiDC Tuesday.
Bernier said Monday it was important not to let two people tell Peace residents who to vote for.
“Don’t let Kevin Falcon and John Rustad determine who you will vote for in the Peace,” he said, noting Falcon’s decision to fold the BC United party. In the North Peace, Jordan Kealy has been noted to be running in the North Peace.
MLA Dan Davies has yet to confirm candidacy or retirement either way - as of this update.
