It’s a race in the South Peace.

BC Conservative Larry Neufeld will be running against Independent Mike Bernier - who confirmed his candi­dacy Tuesday morning.

“Voters in the South Peace will have a clear choice - a member of gov­ernment who can affect change - or one sitting as an Independent,” said Neufeld to TWiDC Tuesday.

Bernier said Monday it was impor­tant not to let two people tell Peace residents who to vote for.

“Don’t let Kevin Falcon and John Rustad determine who you will vote for in the Peace,” he said, noting Fal­con’s decision to fold the BC United party. In the North Peace, Jordan Kealy has been noted to be running in the North Peace.

MLA Dan Davies has yet to confirm candidacy or re­tirement either way - as of this up­date.
