Peace Gallery North is inviting the community to wander through the colours, textures and stories created by the hands of Julene Gunther before the exhibit closes on September 27.

The opening reception for 'The Sky's The Limit' at Peace Gallery North was held on Sept. 5, drawing a packed house that filled the gallery with community spirit, conversation and colour.

Anchored in acrylic and oil on canvas, the show also features striking pieces that incorporate glass and maps in unexpected ways.

Gunther spoke about her inspirations on the North Peace Cultural Centre’s website, saying she grew up on a farm in the prairie province of Saskatchewan and was part of a large family who spent a lot of their time outdoors, where the sky was large and always changing as the wind blew.

As the show is coming to an end, this is your last chance to see 'The Sky's The Limit' which is only on display at Peace Gallery North until September 27, and free to view during their open hours of 11am-5pm, Tuesday-Saturday.
