Badly beaten and left for dead in Baldonnel

A 37-year-old male was recently located by RCMP in a ditch in Baldonnel, BC, after being badly beaten and dumped in a ditch.
The Fort St. John police received a report on October 16, shortly before 8 am, claiming a male was lying in a ditch along the 238 Road close to the 253 Road in Baldonnel.
The BC Emergency Health Services, Fire Department, and frontline police officers all swiftly attended the scene where they located a conscious, but incoherent 37-year-old male.
Most of the male’s body suffered injuries according to the release, which was believed to be the result of an assault. The individual was transported the Fort St. John Hospital where he was intubated for several days.
Local RCMP are currently asking the public for any information regarding the potential aggravated assault, which would have occurred sometime before the morning of October 16.
Anyone with surveillance or dashcam footage, information about the victim, incident, or the circumstances which lead up to the assault to contact the Fort St. John police at 250-787-8100.
