The Taste of Fort St John was back Saturday, June 29, at the FSJ Curling club which featured various vendors with their unique dishes. This event was put on by the FSJ Multicultural Society, who according to their Facebook aim to foster multiculturalism, diversity, understanding, integration and mutual respect among the diverse cultures in Fort St John, BC.

International food festivals have significant impacts on both local communities and global cultural exchange. These events showcase culinary diversity, offering the public a chance to experience a wide array of flavors and traditions from across the globe in one place.

Beyond satisfying the public’s hunger, these festivals promote mutual understanding and appreciation of different culinary customs. They also bring economic benefits by means of supporting local businesses and creating opportunities for cultural exchange.
