1 . Peace Country Christmas: A Hallmark Parody Musical at the North Peace Cultural Centre (NPCC) December 19, 7:30-9:30pm.
2 . Home for Christmas Benefit Concert at the Lido on Friday, December 20, 7:30 – 10:30pm. This event will have great music including Joseph Tebulte & Friends along with Johnny and the Guns as well as handcrafted door prizes from the Artisans at JD Knives. All proceeds will be donated to support our Addiction Centre.
3 . The North Peace Potters Guild is holding their weekly Mugs & Pottery Sale on Saturday December 21, 10am – 1pm, which will have an extra big display of pottery as we approach Christmas. This event will be cash only and is being held at the North Peace Potters Guild at 10320 94 Ave Fort St. John.
4 . Santa Skate at the Pomeroy Sports Centre on Sunday December 22, 1:30-3:30 or 4:30-6:30pm. The PETRONAS Sunday Free Skate will have a festive spin with decorations, classic carols, crafts, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus between 5-6pm!
5 . The outdoor ice surfaces at Mathews Park and Kin Park opened for public use on December 13, where the public may use the ice surfaces at their own risk.
6 . December 24, Holiday crafts is being held at the North Peace Leisure Pool, where you can join the pool team for an afternoon of crafts while watching the Santa Tracker from 1-4pm.
7 . New Years Eve Bash at the Fort St. John Royal Canadian Legion on December 31, starting at 7pm. Tickets go on sale Wednesday November 6th and cost $40. The Sweet Water Band will take the stage at 9pm, and there will be complimentary champagne just before midnight with a midnight buffet meal following the countdown.
8 . New Years Eve Fireworks Show will be held on December 31, at 8pm in the field northeast of the Fort St. John Hospital. The City of Fort St. John will be hosting an early fireworks show at 8 pm where everyone is invited to celebrate the new year together.
9 . New Years Eve Inflatable Party at the North Piece Leisure Pool. Here is your chance to get out and have fun on their large inflatables from 1-4 p.m on December 31. Regular admission applies.
10. January 3 at 8pm will be the Fort St. John Huskies first game of 2025, and will be played at the North Peace Arena against the Dawson creek Kodiaks.
